Day off oh yeah!

Whoohoo it is now Friday and there is nothing better than having the day off! Today I went with my fiance to get her car registered in Floriduh. The end of an era, our cars are now registered in this weak ass state and our licenses are also Floriduh now. Hmmm CRAP! Oh well. My kiddies are also heading to the vet today so thats going to be quite interesting since this will be the first time I've ever brought them both there together. I guess I'll have to see how that goes. Booyah!! DAY OFF!!! Thats all I care about

Cool new browswer!

Well OK, this browser really isn't anything new but still, I found a new browser that I can use at work and with all the IE specific websites I have to use during the day. My new browser is MAXTHON!!! This thing used to be known as MyIE2 but they changed the name of it. It uses an IE engine so that all those IE specific pages that I couldn't run before on Firefox now run perfectly! This thing has more bad ass features than Firefox right now. There are of course a few things that I would probably want but for right now, I think I just found a new favorite web browser. I'll keep Firefox around of course just in case but I might get rid of it at home. BOOYAH!!

Man its only Monday......

Well another work week has started....... oh yay! Can you tell I'm being sarcastic? I'm can't wait till May when I get to take my 1 week honeymoon. I'll be relaxing in the sun without a care in the world and I'm not repeat NOT going to even bring a computer with me. Just my digital camera and maybe my iPod but I suspect I'll be too busy to use either one of them that much.

I feel bad for my friends back up north with all that snow they got dumped with. I saw some awesome pictures on the NY Times of how big the snow drifts are and that made me think about going skiing! I think thats something I want to pick up again but its kind of hard to do when you're in the Sunshine State. Although I will say that on this lovely Monday morning it was 32 degrees so of course it felt like home :) Come and get me old man winter! Alright thats enough BS for one day, I'll put more crap up if I'm in the mood later this week. Man this sure beats updating a flash file every other month and posting it on a server.

It's almost time for the Super Bowl!

OK I'm not the biggest fan of football fan, but still its almost time for the Super Bowl!! I just finished watching the NFC Championship game (Eagles won for those of you under a rock) and right now I'm watching the Pat's kick Steeler ass in the AFC Championship game. I'm predicting the Pat's are going to kick some major ass and head to the Super Bowl again and probably win it. Now you would think that being from CT I would be a Pat's fan. SO WRONG! Since I'm from Southwestern CT, I'm a NY fan (NY GIANTS!) But since I'm not a big fan of Philly, I'll root for the Pat's (just this once until NY makes it back in God knows what year). Well thats it!

I was driving through Tampa this morning.......

and what do I hit? TRAFFIC UP THE ASS! I went my normal way of course but then I hit a mother load of traffic about a mile down the road. I thought, OK sure its just a little traffic but an hour later I finally end up at work. Thats the longest I've ever been stuck in traffic on my way to work and this is without an accident. I thought for sure a truck would be on fire or something but it was just everyone being cowards and going slow. WTF! People seriously need to learn that rush hour means step on the damn gas, move out of the way and get to work as fast as possible and screw the cops! GEEZ!!

Mmmm Dinner! Part 2!

Dinner at the Rusty Pelican was freakin awesome! I was right in predicting that there was a beef dish and a chicken dish. I had the beef and my fiance had the chicken. Both of them were really good but I will admit that the chicken was better over all. I burned myself on the salsa when the beef came out but it was still pretty damn good. The only bad thing was that we couldn't try out any of the pasta which will also be served at my wedding. That would have been perfect! Now all I have to do is wait till May to have this stuff again :) Ohhh yeah!!

Mmmm Dinner!

Tonight is going to be a good night. First off I get to leave early from work, thats a plus in anyones book. Granted I'm only leaving half an hour before I'm supposed to leave but I'll take it. Second I'm heading over to the Rusty Pelican tonight to try out some stuff for the wedding. There's nothing better than a little free food (I'm hoping its free!) Too bad I forgot what it is I'm supposed to be tasting. I think its supposed to be some sort of beef dish and a chicken dish. Oh well we'll see when I get there. I guess there will be no working out for me tonight :) such a pity!!

Battlestar Galactica

Well there is a new Battlestar Galactica show. I can't say that I've seen the old one since that one came about LONG ago, I think even before I was born and that was quite a while ago too. I must say that I like this show so far. Lots of action and things blowing up which are all good things. Characters are what I thought they would be and they correlate well to the old show (I read up on it when I was bored). Now its part of my TiVo passport ;) Booyah!

Tampa drivers suck ass

Today is another fine example why Tampa drivers suck ass. A little sprinkling of rain and they freeze up, become pussies, and go like 30 in a 50 zone. Come on people its only a little rain, its not like its SNOW or something. God forbid there be snow in Tampa even an inch deep, there would be road closures and massive panic! WHAT TO DO WHAT TO DO!!! People in this town need to get a clue on how to drive a freakin car the right way. I'm a CT driver so I know I have skills compared the yokels that live down here. BASTARDS need to get out of my WAY!!

Woodland Christmas (South Park)

I just downloaded this episode of South Park and it is so freakin twisted!! LOL!! Little woodland critters are Satan worshipers and are awaiting the birth of the anit-Christ but you don't know it till near the end of the episode. And the best part?? Cartman wrote the story because the entire episode is narrated! Freakin awesome!!

Where's the new South Park??

It's another Wednesday night and as usual there isn't crap on the TV. I am slowly awaiting 10:00PM because thats when there normally is some new South Park. After showing a couple weeks with new episodes there doing the re-runs. MAN! Oh well no big deal, I can always just tune in Law and Order again.

For you South Park fans, tonights episode is The Jeffersons!! Thats right its Michael Jackson and his son Blanket starring in one of the best episodes I've ever seen come out of the South Park series. Even though its old I still may tune in and see this one even though I already have it on my PC ;)

Mac's suck!

Holy bullshit! I just read the article on CNet about the latest MacWorld Expo. It's total crap! I just saw the two big products coming out, the new Shuffle MP3 player and the Mac Mini. Now to gripe about both in detail! LOL!

Lets start with the Mac Mini. This little brick is a Mac PC for only $499!! HOWEVER!! There is no keyboard, mouse, or monitor. I mean wtf! Even the cheapest Dell on the planet comes with at least the keyboard and mouse. I certainly hope the power cord on this little brick isn't optional. Now that would just totally suck balls. Small form factor PC's are out right now and granted they're for people that like to build PC's and not really for mass marketing but still, why buy a PC with nothing but the brick? Makes no sense!

Brand spanking new (and useless??) new flash based MP3 player was also announced at MacWorld called the Shuffle. For only $99 you get a 512MB flash based player with no screen that is loaded with MP3's from ITunes and then plays in a random order......... hmmmm.......... this doesn't sound quite right to me. Granted you can turn off the shuffle feature but I personally like knowing what song is playing and I like being able to PICK my own songs. My fiance just got a Creative Muvo TX FM and that thing kicks all sorts of ass. It plays FM radio stations, it can be used as a flash drve, and it loads up MP3's using drag and drop. And the Shuffle compares how??? LOL!! Bad move Jobs, you should have stayed in the hard drive MP3 business instead of moving to flash drives with the Shuffle.

To all you Mac fans, I am truely sorry LOL! Apple just shot themselves in the foot AGAIN!

Returning from the holidays.........

Today is my day to gripe about Tampa traffic. It seemed that everyone wanted to go to work at the exact same time that I did! Last week was awesome, almost not a soul on the road and I could almost hit 70 on local roads without a problem. This week is kicking my ass since people seem to be finally going back to work and clogging my route to work. It wouldn't be so bad if they would just MOVE their asses at the speed limit but NOOOO. They have to go like 30-35, God forbid they get to work *shock* early! Utter crap! The way home isn't any better since these same people still don't understand the true meaning of rush hour. As defined in CT, rush hour is the time of the day to hop in your car and get home as fast as possible no matter what the speed limit signs say. OK thats my rant for today, I'll get some news or something up in the next few days if anything interserting happens.

Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle DVD Part 2!

OK OK, I said in a previous post that I wouldn't go and buy the DVD since I had no money but I broke down this weekend and I just had to get it since it was on sale. That movie is funny as hell! I bought it this weekend and I've already watched it of course. One of the best parts is when they're listening to the "Extreme Mix" in the jacked up 4x4 and start singing along to Wilson Philips. LOL! Neil Patrick Harris was awesome too playing a complete perv who was basically "tripping balls" the entire movie looking to get laid. If you haven't seen it, go rent it at least! I'll write about the weekend later or maybe not, got a busy day today at work.

TGIF!!

Hells yeah bitch, its FRIDAY!! Friday means jeans day at the office which is just cool all on its own. It gets better, after work since tonight is bowling night for me at the league here in Tampa. I'm hoping I won't screw up and bowl a 120 or something which would totally suck ass. Still mulling over what to get for dinner too but thats alright. I'm eating chinese for lunch, and not that cheap take out stuff either, I'm talking the real deal, or as real as I can get in Tampa.

Who knows what the weekend holds, I'm still thinking about how to occupy my time but I'm sure it will involve getting out of the apartment and spending money which is never a bad thing especially if its for me, my fiance or the cats :)

Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle DVD!!

What can I say? I was one of those people that actually went to see this movie and it was great! They have an unrated version coming out I think today, will I pick it up? Probably not right now since Xmas bills are still kicking my ass but I'm definately adding this to the list, who can forget the Extreme Mix in the bad ass redneck truck or seeing Doogie Howser (Neil Patrick Harris) being a complete sex-aholic. Totally awesome :)

Someone shoot this fool!!

Here's a lovely story from CNN - LINK - I'm all for separating Church and State but this is getting too much! The Pledge of Allegience doesn't hurt anyone and saying "Under God" doesn't do anything either except maybe re-affirm who founded this country. Just because some athiest ass has nothing better to do with his time than dump on the pledge astounds me. I say deport him to China, their pledge doesn't have "Under God" in it.

Whoohoo new iPod!

One of the cool new toys I got for Xmas this year was a new iPod from my fiance. The thing is really cool so far. I got the iTrip attachment so I can now play all my tunes in the car. The only bad part is that it doesn't have a remote so sometimes I forget to pay attention when I'm driving while I'm looking for a good song to hear. I'm currently in the market for a case for it since none came with it. I use one of my hard drive cases for it for now.

Now all I need to do is find more free music to load it up to max capacity.........................

The "new" News Page

For all you old visitors to my website, I've sort of transferred the News Page to this blog just because its easier to post stuff on there. This doesn't mean I'm going to neglect the rest of my website, it just means I'm trying to make maintenance as easy as possible for updates. Not to mention one of the cooler features is that you can now post comments to stuff that I've put up here unlike before.

OK first things first, Happy New Year! I had an enjoyable time sitting in front of my TV watching the ball drop. Surprisingly Times Square was warm this year rather than brr ass cold. It's kinda hard celebrating the holidays in Tampa when you're used to bitter cold and high winds, oh and also NO SNOW! Now that the New Year has started, I'm going to be like everyone else and resolve to work out and lose some weight (if possible). We'll see how that goes. Other than that, there's no news thats fit to print since I'm sure no one wants to know how I'm trying out different kitty litters for my cats to find the best one that won't smell :P Adios!

Well well, I just joined the rest of the internet world by getting my own blog. I asked my friend Ali if this will be easier than updating my site every quarter and after a long conversation with her about it I decided to try this bad boy out. Now I have to try and update all the links on my site so it points here for news and other garbage. More will come later once I edit my site........
